Over the next few years the East End of Glasgow will be affected in a major way by several large scale regeneration projects. It is vital the East End Communities are well placed to grasp the opportunities that this regeneration will create.
The East End Housing Associations Regeneration Forum (EEHARF) is an initiative by 5 registered social landlords; Milnbank HA, Parkhead HA, Thenew HA, Tollcross HA and Shettleston HA. Its main purpose is to develop collaborative working to expanding the strategic role in delivering wider community regeneration and the social justice agenda in the East End.
The forum will operate as a single point of contact to promote communication, participation and joint working in Community Planning and to develop community initiatives which will address the issues of unemployment, lack of educational attainment, financial exclusion and poor health.
